How Does It Work?
For length and weight, each unit has a specific "base value" (for example, the base unit for length is the meter). The input value is first converted into the base unit, and then converted from that base value into the desired unit. For instance, to convert from meters to feet, multiplying the meter value by 3.2808 gives the feet (since 1 meter = 3.2808 feet).
Temperature calculation is a bit different because simple multiplication and division do not apply directly. The formula to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit is:
Fahrenheit= (Celsius ×9/5) + 32
And to convert to Kelvin, simply add 273.15 to Celsius.
